Rossfeld/Zinken
The Rossfeld ski area is a very snow-reliable family ski area (natural snow) with four tow lifts. Well-groomed slopes and a natural snowboard area await the skiers.
Four ski lifts open up well-groomed alpine slopes and a separate snowboard slope with halfpipe and fun park. The ski run to Oberau is 6 km, an RVO shuttle bus runs between Oberau and Rossfeld.
Ski and sun guests can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden Alps (Hoher Göll, Kehlstein, Lattengebirge, Untersberg) and Austrian mountains (Dachstein, Tennengebirge) as well as the Salzach Valley 1000 m below with the Mozart city of Salzburg.
Ideal runs for beginners and families
Three tow lifts and a practice lift open up well-groomed ski and snowboard slopes as well as a separate ski / boardercross route. You can ski on natural snow on the easy ski meadows on the Roßfeld until Easter. The 6 km long valley run to Oberau or to the neighboring Zinken ski area is interesting for experienced skiers. Floodlit skiing and après-ski in the Roßfeldskihütte or in the Liftstüberl offer skiing fun into the evening hours. The Roßfeldskihütte and the Liftstüberl also take care of your physical well-being. Sunny terraces with a wonderful panoramic view and cozy dining rooms invite you to stop. A hut by the Liftstüberl also helps self-caterers to enjoy their own meal in the warm.
Family/children
The clear slopes on the Roßfeld offer families with children ideal skiing fun. A separate children's practice area with figures as well as a children's ski cross with jumping hills, steep curves and wave tracks promote dexterity. A wide range of family ski passes offers inexpensive skiing fun in an impressive winter panorama.
