Wieninger's beer experience tour

The brewery experience tour is set in the historic buildings of the Wieninger brewery in Teisendorf. You will be guided through the active brewing operation at 10 stations and shown the fascinating craft of brewing beer. You can look over the shoulders of the brewers, taste the malt, explore the aromas of the hops and watch the fermentation in the open tanks of the fermenting cellar.

Afterwards you will find souvenirs and products from the region in the brewery shop.

There are 2 different packages

Brausieder: Guided tour of the brewery, exclusive beer tasting of 4 different beers, a drink of your choice in the Alte Post brewery inn, duration approx. 90 minutes, price €14.90
Master brewer: Guided tour of the brewery, exclusive beer tasting of 4 different beers, invitation to a beer meal (4 different dishes to choose from and a drink of your choice), duration approx. 90 minutes, price: €24.90

Visiting is free for children and young people up to the age of 16!

Due to the historic building, the brewery tour is not barrier-free.

The secret life of plants - what they know, how they smell and feel, and what they remember. What messages are the trees sending each other? What are the herbs whispering?
During a hike through the magical forest to the Hintersee we get to know the language of plants. It is only recently that science has begun to understand them. The hike is led by a biologist.

From the tropical beach to the edge of the glacier

Dates: every Wednesday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., from May 3 to October 28, nature hike through the Wimbachtal as an eventful journey through 250 million years of geological history.

If the Corona rules allow, the hike will also be carried out with only 1 or 2 guests.
Take a deep sea walk 2,000 m below sea level.
Find out why Berchtesgaden was once a part of Africa and was later run over by glaciers.
Discover that Berchtesgaden is surrounded by former tropical beaches, which are now surprisingly at lofty heights.
The hike is led by a geologist.

Meeting point: Wimbachbrücke car park, at the National Park information point, Wimbachweg 2 83486 Ramsau. From the Berchtesgaden train station, take the 846 bus in the direction of Ramsau
Distance: 4 km, approx. 300 meters in altitude, the hike ends at Wimbachschloss, where you can stop for refreshments, separate way back
